Who is responsible for your data
UNIKA AND PARTNERS, S.L.U. (NIF B05628557), trading as UNIKA, is the controller for the personal data described in this notice. Registered office: Avenida Palm Mar, nº 2, Bloque 1, Escalera 6, Planta 1, Puerta 11, 38632 Arona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact info@unikaestate.com.
What information we use
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name and email address. You may also provide a telephone number, preferred destination, budget, property reference and a message. We keep the time of your enquiry and your acknowledgement of the privacy notice. Name and email are needed to respond; the other visible enquiry fields are optional. Please do not send identity documents, financial records or sensitive personal information through this initial form.
If your enquiry URL contains campaign references, these may be included with your enquiry, including a Google click identifier when present. This records the source of that enquiry; the website does not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels or a separate visitor profiling service.
The server processes technical connection information, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the website. The form uses a short-lived, hashed IP-based counter to limit repeated submissions. Information you send by email or telephone is used to handle that conversation. The form also records browser and device information and the page from which the enquiry was sent. Raw IP addresses are not saved with Fluent Forms enquiries.
Why we use it and our legal bases
We use enquiry details to answer you and discuss the services or property assistance you request. Where you request steps towards a service agreement, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general enquiries, website security and basic enquiry-source information, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to requests, preventing misuse and understanding which communications lead to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where a law requires us to retain or disclose information, we rely on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Sending an enquiry or acknowledging this notice does not subscribe you to marketing. Any future marketing requiring your consent would need a separate choice, and consent could be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Who may receive your information
Access is limited to authorised people handling the enquiry and the technical service providers needed to operate and support the website or communications. Providers acting on our behalf must process data under our instructions and appropriate data protection terms. Relevant authorities may receive information where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
Independent property, legal, tax or other specialists are not automatically sent your enquiry. If you ask us to involve a specialist, we will explain the proposed disclosure and the applicable basis before sharing your information. An independent professional may then act as a separate controller.
Storage and international transfers
The contact form is managed with Fluent Forms. Enquiries are saved in the website’s WordPress database, and an email notification is addressed to info@unikaestate.com for handling by UNIKA. No CRM is connected. Hosting and email providers process information as necessary to run these services. If a provider involves an international transfer, UNIKA must identify the destination and applicable safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, and update this information before that transfer begins.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to answer your request and manage any relationship you ask us to establish. After that, information is deleted or anonymised unless a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim requires restricted retention. The relevant criteria are the status of your request, any resulting service relationship, applicable statutory periods and outstanding claims. The form’s anti-abuse counter expires after 15 minutes.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent you have given. Contact info@unikaestate.com or write to our registered office, explaining your request. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity if necessary.
You can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), including through its electronic complaints service, or another competent supervisory authority. You do not need to contact us first.
Automated decisions, cookies and updates
We do not use enquiry data for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. See our Cookie policy for browser storage information. We will update this notice if the website’s processing changes.
